Heather Golf Club 9-hole golf course located in Weeki Wachee Florida and near the famous mermaids of Weeki Wachee Springs. Our course is about 45 minutes north of Tampa in Hernando county near major highways include I-75 and the Suncoast Expressway. It formed in 1988 for the purpose of providing quality golf, tennis, swimming and social events. The Heather golf club is a 2,456-yard, 9-hole layout. The beautiful live oaks and pines that line the narrow fairways provide a challenging and interesting course for all levels of golfing skills. Private carts are welcome and walking is permitted anytime. Only soft spike shoes are permitted. The practice facility consists of a putting green and a bunkered pitching hole. A professional golf instructor is available for lessons and the Pro Shop is stocked for all a golfer necessities. Enjoy a cool beverage, light refreshment and friendly conversation in our banquet room. Cart rentals are available on a daily basis.
