About the club
The Lake Wales Country Club was founded in 1923 as a part of the planned development of the town of Lake Wales, Florida. The course was designed by the architectural firm of Stiles and Van Kleek. Over its early decades, the course garnered a reputation for its challenging design and excellent conditioning. The Lake Wales Country Club features a unique "step" design on several of its greens— a signature design element of architects Stiles and Van Kleek. The course is also known for its stunning vistas of the surrounding Florida landscape. While Lake Wales Country Club is a private club, they have historically welcomed outside play and hosted public tournaments¸. Please contact the club for the most up-to-date access information.
