Old Memorial Golf Club was established in 1997 by Outback Steakhouse co-founders Bob Basham and Chris Sullivan. The privately-owned club was intended to be a "pure" golf club emphasizing the game's traditions and respecting its history. As its name suggests, the club operates with a dedicated effort to memorialize and reverence the classic aspects of golf. Old Memorial Golf Club is a private club that requires a membership. Membership applications are only considered from those who are sponsored by at least two current members. The club is not open to the public.
