Ridge Manor Oaks Golf and Country Club

About the club

The real star of the show at The Ridge is the golf course and layout, which is both challenging to seasoned players and welcoming to rookies and newcomers who are still learning the game. This is an 18-layout that consists of an "Oaks" nine with narron fairways hugged by hundred year old oaks and a "Dunes" nine that is open with waste bunkers and links-style grasses that border the fairways. This is a course that will have you reaching for every club in your bag as you have fun and improve your skills. The 18-hole "Ridge Manor Oaks" Golf and Country Club in Ridge Manor, Florida features 6,712 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating is 71.9 and it has a slope rating of 128 from the championship tees. There are 4 sets of tees to accomodate golfers of all skill levels. One great feature of the club is our two nines, which each feature a different look and architectural style. The Oaks nine features narrow tree-lined fairways, while The Dunes nine features a more open look, with dunes and links style grasses bordering most fairways. Designed by Hans Schmeisser, the Ridge Manor Oaks Golf & Country Club first opened in 1954 and was formerly known as Whispering Oaks Country Club.
