Opened in 1929, the Golf Barrière de Deauville is recognized as one of the most beautiful courses in France. The architects Tom Simpson and Henry Cotton designed three nine-hole courses, offering every player a range of golfing pleasure in a 70 hectare setting. The magnificently maintained Golf Barrière de Deauville, with its many views across sea and countryside, is a genuine championship golf course, and has in the past hosted the French Open, the Ebel Match Play and the Air France Madame. Its many facilities (practice greens, putting green, chipping green, pitching green, practice bunker) offer many ways to improve one's game all year round. In the Clubhouse, the true heart of the distinguished Golf Barrière de Deauville, the huge picture windows open onto the most delightful views. The Golf Barrière de Deauville Hotel, built in the Anglo-Norman style, looks down over the park, like an ocean liner with 178 rooms, inviting you to take a cruise over this sea of greenery.
