About the club
Created in 1991, this Par 72 of 6,575 meters from the back tee is a real championship course set in a totally natural environment made of wood and water. Extremely varied both by the diversity of the holes and the presence of water on 9 of them, this course constitutes a formidable technical and physical challenge. All the golf shots must be mastered in order to perform. A very straightforward course without any blind shots, it is composed of vast greens designed with light but very subtle slopes rewarding the best putters. This course was imagined and designed by Hugues Lambert who knew how to use the meanders of the Rhône to create carefully maintained wilderness enclaves. Another audacity: a panoramic mound offers spectators an exceptional view of the start or finish of 10 of the 18 holes of the course. Among the events that have taken place there are the 2001 French Open won by José Maria OLAZABAL, the Gounouilhou 2005, the French amateur women's individual championship in 2010, the GAVEAU Cup and the French Men's Cup (TROPHEE JEAN LIGNEL) in 2012. This course is regularly ranked among the most beautiful in France.
