Golf de Cherbourg

About the club

The Cherbourg golf course, one of the most beautiful 9-hole golf courses in Normandy according to the Regional Tourist Committee, is located in the village of La Verrerie in La Glacerie and dominates the city and the bay of Cherbourg in the Cotentin region. Practically flat, it has very narrow fairways bordered by woods and has small, fairly well defended greens. The trees, present all along the course, and the fairway bunkers (holes 2, 6 and 8) await the balls whose trajectory is not perfectly controlled. You will taste the aesthetics of the environment made of wild rhododendron beds, particularly flowering in spring, and numerous tree species (birch, larch, fir, maritime pine, oak, ash...). It is not impossible, if you are early enough, to see some deer or roe deer crossing the fairways.
