Golf de La Bretesche
About the club
Situated in a beautiful century-old forest, the Golf du Domaine de La Bretesche extends in the heart of a 200-hectare estate. This magnificent 18-hole course, designed by the English architectural firm Henri Cotton in 1967, is 6015m long and elegantly set in a setting where the towers and ramparts of the château majestically overhang the course. The course was designed by Bill Baker - designer of the Haut Poitou and Nîmes Vacquerolles golf courses - and attracts golfers from all over the world. However, with only a few well-placed bunkers to negotiate, golfers of all handicaps can play at La Bretesche. You will certainly be under the spell of the panorama from the green n°9 which overlooks the castle of La Breteshe set as if by magic on its pond, a real postcard! A course which, without a doubt, allows golfers of all levels to enjoy themselves in a sumptuous setting.
