About the club

Charles de GINESTET created in the 1980s the 9-hole golf course in the middle of the Laloubère racecourse. After 5 years of work, on his farm he opened a new 9-hole course, the Tumulus in 1988. Then in 1990, he moved to 18 holes. His creation and his idea to create a golf course near the city center of Tarbes in Laloubère allows many sportsmen and women to live their passion for golf. After his departure in 1992, the Tumulus golf course remains in the Family with the succession of his son Yves de GINESTET. Today, the golf has more than 650 licensees, associations and teams of dynamic volunteers, a golf school pilot at the national level, a partnership with the city of Tarbes for schoolchildren, a flagship competition the Open de la Ville de Tarbes, more than 100 days of competitions, open doors for everyone, an affiliation to the network "LE CLUB" Ugolf group.
