About the club
It was in 1907 that work began on the development of the golf course, in the vast wasteland on the banks of the Allier. Joseph Aletti, director of the Société des Grands Hôtels de Vichy, was the instigator of the project to meet the needs of the clientele of Vichy at the time. The 9-hole course was designed by Arnaud Massy, a famous French champion and winner of the British Open. At the same time, the original clubhouse was built by the architect Gustave Simon, architect of the Compagnie fermière. The par 70 course is 5366m long (from the white tee) and includes 3 par 5, 10 par 4 and 5 par 3. Its slope is 134 for the men (white tee) and 134 for the ladies (blue tee). Its SSS is 68.6 for men (white tee) and 70.8 for women (blue tee). The golf course has a clubhouse with men's and women's locker rooms, a restaurant and an 8-station driving range, a putting green and an approach zone.
