About the club

American architect Cabell Robinson gave more than lip service to the frequently voiced desire for a layout that truly appeals to players at every skill level when he designed the course at Limere. Each hole offers a variety of teeing options that range from strenuous to generous. Situated outside Orleans to the south in the Sologne Forest, the landscape is level and eminently walkable, while care has been taken to ensure that each hole is distinct and engaging. At the same time, bunkers, water hazards and trees keep the play lively, and approaches to the green will be trying for players who are ambitious in placing their pins. At 6221 meters from the tips, the course is fairly modest in length, yet it can be toughened up for the club's annual regional championship. T
