About the club

The Golf de Saint Malo was born in 1986 from the imagination of Hubert Chesneau. Hubert Chesneau (who also designed the Golf National - Open de France). He wanted a straightforward architecture and offers a sporting challenge as well as a treat for the eyes. Hubert Chesneau knew how to combine the richness of the site: its bodies of water (pond of Mireloup), its granite massifs and its trees, a varied and sporting design, in a domain of 100 hectares. The Parcours Surcouf is the host of the Saint Malo Golf Open Alps Tour since 2016 (Professional Tournament). This course designed by Hubert Chesneau (Golf National, Ryder Cup Venue) borders and crosses the pond of Mirloup. Between bodies of water and massive granite, trees and bunkers, the course unfolds its winding fairways in the Breton countryside and keeps you on the edge of your seat for 18 holes where the spirit of the corsair haunts the place. Originally conceived as an 18-hole course, the Old Course allows for a diversification of our golf for all players and also for beginners. You will fall under the charm of its granite massifs resurgent at 1 to 2 or 6, of its hundred-year-old oaks and by the point of view on the pond of Mireloup and the Forest of Mesnil which close it.
