About the club
Lookout Mountain Golf Club, with its physical location in Georgia, is a member of the Tennessee Golf Association, PGA, and the Chattanooga District Golf Association. As an active Club with a great Seth Raynor course, it has hosted many Championships over the years. The Lookout Mountain Golf Club, originally the Fairyland Golf Club, was part of Garnet Carter’s dream for an exclusive resort colony called “Fairyland.” Unfortunately, a combination of bad events (rainstorms, Raynor's death etc.) ensured that the potential of this was never realized. Architect Brian Silva was called in 1997 to finish Raynor's work and to refurbish the course, with an amazing result.
