Southern Hills Golf Club

About the club

Southern Hills was opened in October 1997 by the Dunaway family of Hawkinsville. The course was built on acres of hunting and farming land that had belonged to the family since the 1970s. The Dunaways continue to operate the course today and work hard to create an outstanding experience for discriminating golfers. Our site is exceptionally well-suited to the game of golf because of its rolling terrain and elevation changes of up to 160 feet, very unusual for central Georgia. Our course offers a great mix of open land combined with fairways lined with oaks and pines; you'll find water on nine holes.
