Golf and Country Club Fleesensee - Schloss Torgelow

About the club

Located to the north along the former border between East and West Germany, the Golf & Country Club Fleesensee is designed to attract tourists, so the Schloss course caters to golfers of every skill level from novice to pro. With its four hotels, this is an unabashed resort location, so visitors will be well provided for. Of the three courses at Fleesensee, the Schloss is kept to tournament standards, while the others are pitched to more modest players, which arrangement has the additional benefit that better players are not slowed down by the rest. The Schloss was created under the auspices of the European Tour, which made sure that championships be played there and oversaw the construction of a first-rank academy. Laid out over largely level ground, the course is best described as parkland, so it is spacious, and manages to generate enjoyment without recourse to artificial effects.
