Golf Club Gut Ising

About the club

The nine-hole course of the Ising country estate golf club, designed by former German champion Thomas Himmel, is embedded between old rows of trees and the neighbouring polo fields of the Ising country estate. Occasional water adds delightful variety and calls for a calculated game strategy. The large driving range, which provides a view of the Alps, is very appealing. The DRIVING RANGE at our course is one of the most beautiful in Upper Bavaria. Savour the spectacular view of the mountains as well as the impressive size of the driving range at the Ising country estate. Another unique feature is the tee on four levels. The three picturesque water traps pose a particular challenge. Five holes take players over predominantly flat terrain while four are hilly; the 8th hole (par 5) spanning 512 metres, complete with a dog leg around four charming oak trees, tempts long hitters in particular to go for the 'tiger line'."
