About the club
Founded in 1958, the golf course was officially opened in May 1959 by Princess Ottilie of Hesse. The course lies on the historic terrain of the ancient pheasant run and is ringed by a 300 year-old wall. The Hanauer golf course ranks as one of the most beautiful parkland-style golf courses in Europe thanks to its lakes, streams and ancient trees. Golf tuition for all levels from PGA Professionals. Home golf course of PGA Tour player Alex Cejka and the successful amateur national player Pia Halbig. Venue of the German National Championships from 1987 to 1990 with Bernhard Langer. Participant in the quality management „Golf & Nature“.
