About the club

At the beginning of the eighties of the last century, Schloss Liebenstein passed from the Württemberg house into the ownership of a limited partnership, which was formed by the community of Neckarwestheim and enthusiastic golfers and built the first 18-hole course on the grounds of the Liebenstein domain. In 1982 the golf club was founded, which soon took over the operation of the course and runs it as Golf- und Landclub Schloss Liebenstein eV until today. In 1993 the golf club built the third 9-hole golf course and in 1996 the spacious new clubhouse was inaugurated. With around 120 hectares of land, the club is one of the largest golf clubs in Baden-Württemberg.
