Im schönen Königsbrunn liegt der öffentliche Platz des Golfclub Königsbrunn e. V. Dort, südlich von Augsburg und zwischen den Flüssen Lech und Wertach, befindet sich die 9-Loch-Anlage des Clubs. Aufgrund ihres durchlässigen Bodens auf der Schotterebene des Flussgebiets, ist der Platz bei jedem Wetter bespielbar. Die Fairways sind relativ schmal und lang. Sie passen sich dem Naturraum optimal an. Bäum, Büsche, Seen und andere Wasserhindernisse strukturieren die Anlage. Der Par-70-Course ist 5252 Meter lang (bzw. 4669 m) und nicht sehr schwer zu spielen. Die Anlage ist relativ flach, daher auch für Senioren bestens geeignet. Herausfordernde Grüns und gut platzierte Roughs verlangen von den Spielern taktisches und technisches Geschick, vor allem Bahn 8 mit dem Dogleg. Auf dem Gelände gibt es für Übungszwecke eine Driving-Range mit 15 Rangeabschlägen und Pitching Area, Putting Greens sowie Übungsbunker. Vor Ort ist ein Pro-Shop, zudem können sich Interessierte eine komplette Ausrüstung leihen. Der Golfclub Königsbrunn e. V. hat von März bis November Saison. The 9-hole public course of Golfclub Königsbrunn e. V. is located in the charming town of Königsbrunn, south of Augsburg between the Lech and Wertach rivers. Thanks to the permeable soil on the bedrock of the river basin, the course can be played in any weather. The fairways are relatively narrow and long. They seamlessly blend in with the natural surroundings. Trees and bushes combined with lakes and other water hazards define the course layout. The par 70 course spans 5,252 metres (or 4,669 m) and is not overly challenging. The course is relatively flat, so it is also suitable for seniors. Challenging greens and well-placed roughs demand tactical and technical skill from players - especially hole 8 with its dog leg. The grounds are also home to a driving range with 15 tees, a pitching area, putting greens and practice bunkers where golfers can work on their game. A local pro shop also provides interested players with the possibility of renting a complete set of equipment. The Golfclub Königsbrunn e. V. season runs from March to November.
