Schloss Langenstein Country Club
About the club
The championship course - the heart of Langenstein Castle - impresses with its extensive landscape and each one of its own characteristic and unique fairways. Since its inception, Langenstein has been the venue for various German championships and tour tournaments. Opened in 1991 and completed in 1992, Langenstein was designed by Rod Whitman, who, with Pete Dye and Bill Core, has built many renowned systems around the world. In addition to the unique combination of untouched nature and well-tended fairways, the characteristics of Langenstein undoubtedly include the generous and heavily undulating greens, which are among the most demanding in all of Germany. From the very beginning, Whitman wanted to create a course that was fair for all skill levels but also interesting from a sporting point of view, offering the golfer a wide range of strategic options.
