About the club

Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer both created courses for LeoPalace Resort Country Club, which is located in the interior of Guam, about a half hour from the main population center. Nicklaus' layout is threaded among sharp slopes and valleys and is framed by the dense tropical forest, with breathtaking Pacific Ocean vistas in the background. Resort golf doesn't get much more demanding than this: players should expect to be thoroughly tested. There are of course some concessions; Nicklaus as usual offers a variety of approaches to a number of the holes in order to compensate for such factors as changes in wind direction. The amenities are simply outstanding, from the huge driving range to a sauna and spa for relaxation after a punishing round. Owing to its relative proximity to Japan, the course receives a great deal of traffic, so be sure to book ahead if you're planning a visit.
