Desert Canyon Golf Course

About the club

Desert Canyon Golf Course is the challenging, yet fair, golf course you have been looking for. Established in 1963, Desert Canyon started as a 9-Hole Golf Course built in the deserts of Mountain Home, Idaho. In 1998, the back nine was built. The back nine fully utilizes the canyons and streams that it was built around. At Desert Canyon you get to experience what feels like two different golf courses. The older and more experienced front nine offers large trees and elevated greens, while the younger back nine has four holes built around a large canyon with water in play on five holes. The entire golf course is a real test from the back tees, but offers an easier and more relaxing round of golf from the “white” and “orange” tee boxes. Come visit our wonderful and friendly staff at Desert Canyon Golf Course where you will experience one of the best golfing experiences in Idaho. We offer different varieties of Season Passes and Gift Certificates, each offering something affordable for the golfers in your family. Desert Canyon also offers a full Bar and Grill, along with a wide variety of merchandise in the golf shop. Desert Canyon provides a variety of individual golf lessons, couples lessons, group lessons and clinics. Enjoy the fun and friendly guidance by yourself or with friends, and achieve the tremendous results you have been looking for.
