A Brief History of Excellence Bluegrass Creek Golf Club traces its roots back to 1965 when it was first conceptualized by visionary golf architect, Richard Packard. Eager to create a challenging yet picturesque golfing haven, Packard meticulously crafted the 18-hole masterpiece, aptly named the Creek Course. Boasting strategic water hazards, undulating fairways, and immaculate greens, this course quickly earned a reputation as one of the premier layouts in the Midwest. Over the years, Bluegrass Creek Golf Club has gone from strength to strength, adding a second course, the Prairie Course, in 2001. Designed by legendary course architect Tom Fazio, this links-style layout offers a stark contrast to its sibling course, providing golfers with a diverse and exhilarating golfing experience. The Prairie Course's bold bunkering, undisturbed prairie grasses, and sublime vistas ensure that players are constantly on their toes. Milestones and Achievements Bluegrass Creek Golf Club has been the proud host of numerous prestigious events that have left a lasting impact on the golfing community. In 1999, the Creek Course served as the battleground for the prestigious Illinois Open, where top local talents battled it out for glory. The club's flawless greens and fairways earned lavish praise from both players and spectators alike, solidifying its reputation as a premier championship venue
