Timber Pointe Golf Club

About the club

Welcome to Timber Pointe Golf Club in Poplar Grove, the pride of Boone County located just 20 minutes east of Rockford, IL and minutes off I-90. We’re where Rockford golfers go to get away from the city environment, out to the country where life is a little slower and more relaxed. And where golf is more affordable. Our expertly conditioned, 18-hole championship course challenges the best golfers, while offering fun, exciting, and very affordable golf for players of all abilities too. We feature a practice range with grass tees, a private instruction tee, accurate distance markers, a large putting green as well as a separate chipping and putting practice green, two practice bunkers, and four target greens measured at the same distances as our four par-3 holes – a unique feature not seen anywhere else on the Rockford golf scene.
