About the club

The beautiful New Kuta Golf resort in the southwest of Bali lives up to the island's reputation for beaches of pure white sand and a stunning landscape. The par 72 eighteen is nestled among cliffs of limestone that look out over the Indian Ocean. The Golfplan USA design team of David Dale, Ronald Fream and Kevin Ramsey is responsible for the layout, which is demanding owing to its length of over 7500 yards (though various teeing options are available), punishing rough, deceptive greens, tight, contoured fairways and the constant breezes off the sea. Among the holes, the series from the 14th to the 16th is particularly intriguing, set as it is on the rim of a cliff looking hundreds of feet down to the ball-swallowing waves. The Indonesian Open, a joint production of the Asian and European Tours, was played at New Kuta in 2009. Amenities include a great clubhouse with an excellent staff.
