About the club

Second generation architect Ted Robinson Jr. shows the influence his father Ted Sr. (the so-called King of Waterscapes) here at Rancamaya Golf & Country Club, where he has let his course arise out of the natural contours of the rolling hills at the base of Mount Salak. The site, less than an hour outside the megalopolis of Jakarta, features stunning mountain vistas and is built near a good-sized lake where there are abundant butterflies and birdlife. Among the challenges on this par 72 course are some blind tee and approach shots and some difficult, though not tricky, greens. At 6266 meters in length, the Rancamaya course is probably better enjoyed from a cart than on foot, and visitors are advised to avoid the rainy season from November to February. The clubhouse features a welcoming staff and excellent facilities, and the golf will be fun for players at any level.
