About the club

Our beautiful 9 hole, 2996 yards par 35 parkland course is perfect for golfers of all abilities to hone their skills. The course, the original deer park of the estate, was designed by the renowned Irish golf architect Eddie Hackett and imaginatively integrates a wide variety of natural features and hazards to create tough par 3s, exciting par 4s and a formidable par 5. Tee times are complimentary to hotel residents and we provide the best Titleist clubs, top of the range all-terrain trolleys which aerate the course as they're wheeled along. Ashford Castle is also surrounded by some of the finest Links Golf courses in the world, including Connemara, Carne, Enniscrone and Sligo are joined by Donegal, Rosapenna, Portsalon, Ballyliffin, Castlerock, Portstewart and Royal Portrush. The hotel is also in a prime position for reaching several world class golf courses from Ballinrobe, Carne and Castlebar in Mayo, Connemara and Portumna in Galway and several in nearby Clare and North Kerry. In conjunction with North & West Coast Links, we can help organise tee times for you at any of these fantastic courses and all other courses throughout the country, as well as arranging luxury transport from Ashford Castle.
