About the club

Our Par 70 Championship golf course, designed by the late Christy O’Connor Jr. is one of the most highly regarded courses on the East Coast. Set in Citywest’s graceful, 240 acre parkland setting, with its mature trees, superb putting surfaces and water features, it has spectacular views of the Dublin Mountains from its perfectly manicured fairways. Renowned Irish golf author and photographer Kevin Markham had the following to say about Citywest Resort Golf Club in his recent publication ‘Hooked – An Amateur’s Guide to the Golf Courses of Ireland’. ‘Citywest is a pretty course which is maturing well. Two of the par 3s require strong shots over water. The ponds are attractive and the greens sit well behind them.’ Citywest Golf Course is GUI affiliated. We welcome groups, society outings, corporate events and charity tournaments.
