Delvin Castle Golf Club

About the club

Established in April 1992, Delvin Castle quickly became a popular golf club amongst the locals of Co. Westmeath. The golf course is set in the a beautiful 17th century estate. Clonyn Castle towers over the golf course in the most wonderful of settings. The ruins an old castle can be seen on holes 9 through 16. These are favourites for those looking to take a few snaps while enjoying their round of golf. The Par 70 course has been developed to a high standard and measures just under 6,200 yards from the Blue Tees. The greens are tricky and some local knowledge is an advantage but not essential to master them. The golf course has been subject of much praise from visiting golfers and societies since the course opened. The tree lined fairways mean that a wayward drives will leave you with a tricky second shots.
