About the club

Founded in 1998, Dunmore Demesne Golf Club is 9 hole parkland course located in Dunmore, Co. Galway. The late 1990s saw a number of courses open for play in Ireland, some in a blaze of national publicity, others to the welcoming applause of local golfers. Dunmore Demesne considers itself among the latter. It opened in 1998 and highly respected golf course architect Eddie Hackett designed the course and was quick to describe it as a 'little gem', and rightly so. Dunmore is a scenic course, with mature trees and scenic landscape being its main feature.
