Letterkenny Golf Club is one of the most scenic parkland courses in the North West. The superbly upgraded parkland layout where an imaginative revamping in 2007 of the course by Declan and Ronan Brannigan has developed the land on the Barnhill estate bordering Lough Swilly into one of the finest in the country. Situated in a magnificent scenic parkland setting, bordering on the shore of Lough Swilly, the course was originally carved out of natural woodlands. As a result there exists today a magnificent natural wildlife habitat that especially supports a spectacular mixture of birdlife. Letterkenny is a rapidly growing bustling gateway town that can offer varied classes of accommodation from its stock of 800 tourist beds. A haven for serious shoppers with most top range international high street outlets represented. Letterkenny’s central location makes it an ideal base for visiting the many magnificent tourist attractions in the North West and with more than 20 Golf Courses within a one hours drive, variety and challenge is ensured.
