Moyvalley Golf Club and Resort

About the club

The recent announcement in October 2015 by the Directors of Moyvalley Hotel & Golf Resort to invest and develop in the overall resort has been greatly welcomed by the Irish and international golfing, tourism and business community. To signal the new era of the golf course, the Directors of Moyvalley Hotel & Golf Resort Rita Shah, Mark McCarthy and Vichai Tripipatkul were delighted to announce the new name of the course to be “Twin Oaks Championship Course” at Moyvalley Hotel & Golf Resort. One of the first signs of development on the course will be to plant two magnificent Irish Oak trees on the opening holes as a signature feature. Speaking on the announcement of “Twin Oaks Championship Course” Director, Rita Shah said; “On behalf of Moyvalley Hotel & Golf Resort we are pleased to announce the new name of the golf course to be “Twin Oaks Championship Course”. The Irish Oak tree is a national symbol of strength and is a key part of Ireland’s natural heritage. Twin Oaks Championship Course at Moyvalley Hotel & Golf Resort is truly a hidden gem in North Kildare. We look forward to delivering our exciting plans for the golf course development this year and to seeing the future plans coming to fruition in the months ahead.”
