Tramore Golf Club
About the club
Tramore Golf Club located in the South East of Ireland is one of the oldest golf clubs in Ireland where golf has been played since 1894. The members at Tramore voted in 2006 to work with internationally renowned golf course designer Jeff Howes to remodel the existing course, while preserving it’s integrity and to also create a new nine holes of similar quality. The result is a fantastic blend of “the Old and the New”. Tramore now boasts 27 holes with sand based greens constructed to USPGA standard. The Old-Course has established itself as one of the premier parkland courses in Ireland and has hosted the Irish Close Championship and multiple professional tournaments and major club competitions over the years. The course is 6,700 yards and it can be challenging for golfers of all levels, characterised by its gently undulating greens - your putting game will be tested throughout the round.
