La Pinetina Golf Club

About the club

Tucked away in the peaceful parkland of Tradate-Appiano Gentile, Golf Club La Pinetina is one of Italy’s most cherished golfing retreats, where natural beauty and sporting passion come together in perfect harmony. Officially inaugurated on November 21, 1971, the club was founded to provide golfers with both a challenge and a sanctuary amidst the rolling hills and pine-covered countryside of Lombardy. From its earliest days, La Pinetina has been more than just a place to play — it’s been a haven for those seeking the timeless pleasure of the game in a setting defined by tranquillity and elegance. The course was designed by the renowned British architect John Harris, whose signature style is evident in other celebrated Italian layouts such as Torino La Mandria and Menaggio. His design at La Pinetina makes full use of the land’s natural contours, blending dense woodlands with open fairways to create a varied and rewarding playing experience. The clubhouse, designed by Eugenio Gerli, embodies Italian sophistication with its refined architecture and welcoming atmosphere, serving as the social heart of the club where players gather to share stories and relax after a round. Over the years, Golf Club La Pinetina has remained committed to innovation and excellence, constantly enhancing its facilities while preserving its traditional charm. In addition to the 18-hole championship course, members enjoy a pitch & putt course, a Technogym-equipped fitness center, saunas, and a beautiful biodesign swimming pool that perfectly complements the serene landscape. With its blend of history, design, and modern comfort, La Pinetina is more than a golf club — it’s a lifestyle destination that warmly invites visitors to experience the essence of Italian golf.
