Padova Golf Club
About the club
The first golf course in Padua was born in 1962 on the initiative of the industrialist Igino Kofler and a group of passionate golfers with the name of Euganeo Golf Club. The course now includes 27 holes located at the foot of the Euganean Hills, bordering the seventeenth-century Villa Barbarigo, designed by the English architect John Harris of the Cotton studio in London, the first 18 holes par 72 transmit at first sight technical and landscape harmony thanks to the valuable contribution made by another historic president of the club: Benedetto Sgaravatti. The field is a veritable botanical garden with 8000 trees and bushes chosen according to landscape and technical criteria, thus revealing a unique path that winds through stretches of water and strategically distributed sand obstacles.
