Cinnamon Hill Golf Club
About the club
The original course at Cinnamon Hill was built in the Sixties, but the contemporary layout is the work of Robert von Hagge and his team. The centerpiece of the grounds through which the course runs is the historic Rose Hall Great House. This mansion was built in the middle of the Eighteenth century by the family of Elizabeth Barrett Browning, and their private graveyard can be seen from the tee at the 4th hole. The property changed hands repeatedly over the years, at one point being owned by Johnny and June Carter Cash, during which time it was used as a location for the filming of the James Bond movie Live and Let Die. The course features a great deal of variety, with some holes lying near the shore, and others in steep, heavily wooded country that rises up to 350 feet in elevation at the tee for the 17th hole.
