Bisharat Golf Club
About the club
The Bisharat Golf Club, established in 1989, is the home of golf in Jordan. It is set in two secluded valleys amidst some of the most beautiful scenery that Jordan has to offer, a short distance off the airport highway. Bisharat golf course is a 9-hole sand course. Because the course generally has little grass, players carry a small mat of rubber backed Astroturf, which is placed on the ground behind the ball. The ball is then placed on the mat, and hit. Using a mat takes a little getting used to for players that have previously only played on grass.
