I have played golf in some of the top rated courses in the world. That sounds a little pretentious but, I’m old and, it was cheaper then! I was invited to play in the member/guest over the last three days and I was so excited. It was nothing short of exceptional. The course is so good. The condition was so good. The greens were perfect. The star of the show is the ambience. In short, it is elegant. It is not overwhelming, it is just right. So hard to do, right? The GM is Daniel and, it is my belief that it all comes from him. I am in the restaurant business and I watch it all with great interest. Outstanding leadership coupled with an outstanding team created by him. Bravo, bravo, bravo. 👏

My first and only visit to the Charles River Country Club of Newton was this past Dec. 14. I attended a weekday buffet holiday luncheon as a member's guest. The club is elegant and has nice restrooms. The food was very good and well displayed. The waitstaff was constantly attentive and pleasant.
