I took my granddaughter to Dead horse beach. We had a wonderful time. You should most definitely have water shoes.

Some of the nicest people I've met! The boats are on moorings and they have their own crane there.. I believe they have a shuttle boat.

Was there taken by a college and have to say, great place to start a great sailing day. The bar is fabulous, we had an awesome time there.

We ran into a Kevin (aka male Karen) who thinks it was his right to police everyone on the dock. Go to Tuck's point in Manchester by the sea. You'll have a better experience.

Great place to spend a few days (or over a week) on your way down the Coast. We were able to easily get an Uber into Salem for all the tourists stuff (Boston was a bit expensive of a ride) and spent the rest of the time relaxing or hanging out at the Club. My husband, really a sailor but forced to motor in a (more comfortable) trawler for the next year, was able to crew on a race while during the stay. The staff was great! Never once did we have to share our location with the launch boat, they knew exactly where we were after one day! We were even able to have a much needed Amazon order delivered, and brought to our boat by the launch! We are from the West Coast and spending the next year traveling down the East Coast. We were in need of suggestions for anchorage/mooring locations along the way and found members to be very helpful.
