I never have left a review, but the poor communication at this venue warrants serious warning to others. Despite confirming ALL details in advance via telephone conversation and numerous emails, my plan was NOT communicated to the onsite manager. When the time came to pay the bill, I felt scammed. We were asked to close out the bill in a room full of our guests. So when I disagreed with the numbers (in front of our guests) the experience was embarrassing and frustrating. We felt forced to agree as to not cause a scene. The event was a happy day, celebrating my daughter's bridal shower. To have a "pit in my stomach" feeling leaving the event is unnecessary and extremely unprofessional. No one bothered to follow up with our experience: no phone call, no email until I complained. Totally unacceptable. We will NOT be returning. I suggest anyone considering this venue think twice. Such a beautiful space with unprofessional management staff, gravely disappointed!

I was here yesterday for a retirement party and the staff was phenomenal. Second to none. They were helpful and polite and engaging. The room was the perfect size and the food was delicious! Great parking as well! As someone who had never been before, I would definitely consider them for upcoming events. Wonderful experience.

This is a private club. We booked it for a fundraiser through a member and were really disappointed in the experience. Despite being told we could arrive in the morning to set up and that there would be staff there to help, no one was there. We got in, but the room was only partially set up. We were informed the night before that the linens wouldn't be there until 1:00, leaving us to scramble to get volunteers for the afternoon. We had to ask the afternoon staff to sweep the deck and mop the floors. Many of the chair cushions were dirty or had broken zippers on the chair pads. When a volunteer pointed that out, we were told they would provide chair covers. They never did. The wi-fi kept cutting out, which made check - in and check - out challenging. One of our volunteers wound up using his phone as a hot spot so we could run guests' credit cards at the end of the evening. They told us they would accept credit cards at the bar, but our guests were told it was cash only, and when we questioned the manager, we were told there was nothing they could do. Since some of our activities were also cash only, it affected our profit for the event. It's a lovely venue, the food was wonderful, and the waitstaff were friendly and attentive. But I would never book a function there again.

A great family country club with the most beautiful views of lake. Excellent dinners by Chef Donna. Enjoy great golf, tennis, paddle tennis, swimming and great social events.
