Set up to block public access from the road to the lighthouse. Extremely unhelpful on site. Wish there were an option for negative stars.

Very pretty views. Easy to get to and interesting history

I recently had an unfortunate experience with Sankaty Head Golf Club. As a cab driver on Nantucket, MA, I went to the club for a scheduled pickup, only to find that the member was a no-show. I had driven 20 minutes or so from downtown Nantucket for this pickup. Upon arrival, a staff member asked me to move my car, despite the fact that I was there to provide a service to one of their members. Feeling upset by the inconvenience and lack of consideration, I called the club to discuss the matter. Although I regret raising my voice initially, I quickly calmed down and explained my situation, nothing that other establishments, like the Hotel Wauwinet, typically cover fares for no-show guests. The staff member said she would get back to me. Later, I received a call from the GM, Lori, who informed me that my behavior was inappropriate. Despite spending 45 minutes without business due to their member's no-show, I was made to feel like I was at fault. This experience was disappointing and reflects poorly on the club's customer service and consideration for service providers. I hope that Sankaty Head Golf Club will reevaluate their policies and approach to ensure better treatment of those who serve their members.

Fantastic golf experience at beautiful, well cared for course. Hah! I wish I was playing there now! Lunch was great also.

Nice track, but can get very windy. Great view of the light from entire course!
