About the club
Islesboro is a 14-mile-long island in Penobscot Bay accessible only by Maine State Ferry — one of the most sought-after private residential retreats on the East Coast. John Travolta, Kirstie Alley (former), and generations of Boston Brahmin and New York banking families have called it home. The Town Club is the private social institution of island life, accessible only to island property owners. The summer season is brief, sacred, and entirely self-contained. No hotels. No vacation rentals. Properties almost never come to market publicly.
