Sungai "Long" Golf and Country Club makes for a nice pun in English, given that the course has a length of 6415 meters from the championship tees. But then Jack Nicklaus is not the kind of designer who can be expected to make things easy—and he can rest assured that there will be no need to add extra length in the near future. There are of course ample teeing options to accommodate different skill levels. In order to achieve balance on so long a layout, the fairways and greens are quite roomy, so plan on taking a golf cart—if not for the length of the walk then for the tropical heat and humidity. Despite its challenges, the course is nicknamed "Garden of Eden," owing to the gorgeous landscaping, though some players may come away thinking more of the serpent in the garden than the flowers and trees.
