Baltimore Country Club
About the club
The East Course at Baltimore Country Club, also known as the Five Farms Course, was one of many outstanding A.W. Tillinghast designs nationally ranked for decades by Golf Digest. Still, even jewels need polishing now and then. The club brought in Keith Foster, perhaps the most modest of modern-day course architects. He chooses to work solely on restorations, no more than two at a time, and declines to self-promote. At Baltimore Country Club, Foster removed trees (which nearly everyone is doing these days), rebuilt greens to make them manageable with today’s green speeds, re-established Tillinghast’s bunkering, regrassed everything and brought back sparkle to the East Course. The par-3s here rank among the best Tillinghast built, as does the stretch run from the par-5 14th to the strong par-3 17th.

Had the opportunity to play with Sean as my caddy. He was an amazing presence and assisted very much in learning the course, and was absolutely fundamental in having a great experience.

Today I had the pleasure of bartending an event held in honor of one of the members at the Baltimore Country Club. It is large and beautiful. The grounds are clean looking well kept for golf and other activities. It is family friendly, for members only and includes pools for the kids etc. The staff employed with this facility were all very nice, quite helpful, accommodating and professional from the managers, Janu, to the floor staff, kitchen staff, the banquet manager she very nice from the beginning to the end. The staff bathroom and locker rooms were very clean and organized so it's safe to say that the memebers' facilities are immaculate. The bars are large and well stocked and has quite a variety of non-alcoholic options as well. The food was beautiful and delicious. Parking was easy, thank you to a nice lady named Maddie who helped me find my way to the building from the parking lot. My experience here was great I highly recommend this establishment to anyone in the financial position to join you will be well treated very well and with the highest professionalism.
