About the club
Chevy Chase Club was established in 1892, originally as a hunt club, before evolving into a full-fledged country club with a golf course. The club's golf course was initially designed by Donald Ross, a prominent golf course architect known for his work on Pinehurst No. 2 and many other classic courses across the United States . Over the years, the club has undergone several renovations to maintain its status as a premier golfing destination. In the 1990s, Arthur Hills, another respected golf course architect, was brought in to modernize the course while preserving its historical integrity . Chevy Chase Club is a private club, and membership is by invitation only. The club maintains a strict privacy policy regarding its membership and access details .
