TPC Potomac At Avenel Farm
About the club
The course opened in 1986 as TPC Avenel and served as a regular PGA Tour stop, hosting the Kemper Open/Booz Allen Classic from 1987-2006 . In 2007-2009, the course underwent a comprehensive renovation and restoration project, reopening as TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm in 2009 . The renovation included significant drainage improvements, rebuilding of all 18 greens, and course modifications by Pete Dye and Tom Fazio .
