About the club
Located across the Severn River from the Naval Academy in Annapolis, the U.S. Naval Academy course received a significant boost in variety and complexity following a 2019 renovation from Andrew Green. The course has a rich heritage, designed by William Flynn in the 1920s, but the holes had become worn down and simplified, with lackluster bunkers and small, tilted greens. Green rebunkered the course as Flynn might have, adding over 20 of them in enlarged, more shapely forms. He also removed unnecessary trees and expanded fairways and greens to capture more playing angles and hole locations. A major improvement.

Fun course with variety in elevation and greenery. Well maintained for December, it snowed 2 days ago and the ground wasnt soggy. It's pricey compared to west coast courses but i enjoyed it. I would love to play it again.

Mixed feelings on this course. Was in decent shapes but definitely had some rough spots on the greens. We liked that were we’re no cart paths but some more signage to guide you were to go would be helpful as you move along. As a guest(non-military) , I am not sure I can complain about the greens fees but it wasn’t cheap and was definitely not worth what we paid for it. It definitely has some challenging holes and course knowledge is definitely going to help!
