About the club
Brae Burn Country Club was established in 1897, making it one of the oldest golf clubs in the United States. The club gained prominence in the early 20th century, particularly after Donald Ross, a renowned golf course architect, redesigned the course in 1912. Ross's design philosophy emphasized natural landscapes and strategic play, which has been preserved through subsequent renovations. The club has hosted several prestigious tournaments, contributing to its historical significance in American golf.
