Cohasset Golf Club
About the club
Cohasset Golf Club, established in 1894, is one of the oldest golf clubs in the United States. The original course was designed by Willie Campbell, a prominent Scottish golfer and course designer of the time. In 1920, the renowned golf course architect Donald Ross was commissioned to redesign the course, a common practice for many prestigious clubs seeking to modernize their layouts during that era. Ross's influence is still evident in the course's strategic bunkering and challenging greens. Cohasset Golf Club is a private club, and access is typically restricted to members and their guests. Publicly available information does not detail specific membership processes or costs.

I don’t play golf, but I’ve heard this place is good. So I thought I could help more people to find it and play there. Hopefully you’ll get a low score.

I was in awe of how nice the club was. James Bolger could be the hardest worker I’ve ever met. The members don’t know how good they have it. Anything going on James is on top of it

What a treat to play golf here with a friend! 125 years of history and careful maintenance make it a top shelf golf club. The greens were superb and everything else was in great shape. Lunch was a fine burger and drinks afterward in the lovely clubhouse. I hope I'm lucky enough to play here again.
