Flanked by rolling mountains on one side and the blue waters of the lagoon on the other, the Heritage Golf Club course has earned the top spot among the most beautiful golf courses in Mauritius and the Indian Ocean region. The 18-hole, par 72 championship course of the Heritage Golf Club on the Domaine de Bel Ombre was crafted with the utmost care to incorporate the features of a naturally hilly landscape. Set in the middle of stunning natural scenery and dotted with small lakes and streams, it combines the pleasure of the game with exceptional views, infrastructure and services. This masterpiece of a golf course stretching over 100 hectares was designed by the South African, Peter Matkovitch, from the renowned architect firm Peter Matkovitch and Hayes. The diversity of landscapes makes every single hole unique, offering residents and visitors to the domaine an unforgettable golfing experience.
